Kirt Announces Tennessee Soccer's 2025 Signing Class
Tennessee soccer head coach Joe Kirt announced the addition of six players in the 2025 signing class.
The signing class consists of one goalkeeper, defender and midfielder along with three forwards.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome this group of tremendous young women to Rocky Top," said Kirt. "They each bring a winning mentality and competitiveness that will fit seamlessly into our culture and team.
They are wired to win championships on the field and will also be exceptional representatives of our program in the community and classroom. We address positional needs in all four lines of our team and expect this group to have an immediate impact the first day they step on campus!"
Abby Batts | F | Cumming, Ga.
The Cumming, Georgia, native led West Forsyth High School to a pair of GHSA Class 7A state championships in 2022 and 2024. In addition to her success at the high school level, Batts was a member of the Brazil U17 National Team in 2024. In her stint competing in ECNL events, Batts has earned a Southeast All-Conference U16 selection, 2021 All-Conference Player of the Year and First Team Southeast Conference honors. In 2022, Batts received an invitation to the USYNT Team camp.
Breahn Fisher | M | Franklin, Tenn.
A four-time letterwinner at Ensworth High School, Fisher was tabbed the TSSAA Division II-AA MVP along with earning All-State honors. Additionally, the Franklin, Tennessee, native was slated as a 2024 High School Girls' Soccer All-American after solidifying herself as one of the state's top players. Fisher, who plays for Tennessee Soccer Club, was tabbed to the 2023 ECNL Girls Ohio Valley All-Conference Team.
Ali Howard | F | Collierville, Tenn.
Howard joins Tennessee after four years at Briarcrest Christian School where she was a two-time TWSA and THSCAA All-State honoree while also earning a pair of All-Region accolades. The striker also took home back-to-back Offensive MVP awards during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The Collierville, Tennessee, native was named to both the Commercial Appeal's and Daily Memphian's First Team All-Metro Teams in 2022 and 2023 for her success at the high school level. In February, Howard earned a spot on the U.S. Youth Soccer Girls ODP National Roster.
Sophia Prime | F | Lewis Center, Ohio
Prime is primed to join the Lady Vols after a successful high school career at Olentangy Orange High School where she captained the squad and earned the Offensive MVP award. She currently holds her high school's single-season assist record (22). The Lewis Center, Ohio, who currently plays club soccer for Ohio Premier, picked up ECNL First Team Ohio Valley Conference honors and participated in the National Selection Game in January.
Morgan Weaver | GK | St. Augustine, Fla.
Weaver joins UT from the Sunshine State where she was a four-year starter and captain at Tocoi Creek High School. Weaver, who is a strong talent in goal, was selected to the U.S. Youth Soccer Girls ODP National roster and also named an ECNL Girls Southeast All-Conference team member. With the ODP U17 national team, Weaver played internationally in England where she was voted as the MVP by Manchester City's coaching staff.
Milee Zych | D | Foothill Rach, Calif.
Zych comes from Orange County to the Big Orange after a successful high school career at Trabuco Hills where she was named Offensive Player of the Year (2023-24), Defensive MVP (2022-23) and Rookie of the Year (2021-22). She also picked up consecutive First Team All-Sea View League for her prominence on the pitch. In 2024, Zych earned a spot on the ECNL All-Southwest Conference list and was a three-time podium finisher at ECNL Finals, coming out victorious in 2022.
