I think 20th is a more realistic prediction at this time than any of the other lists I have seen.

I'm befuddled as to what anyone saw out of that group this year that would lead them to place UT in a preseason Top 25. The fact many of them are saying that the ranking is good even if Tyler Smith leaves is even more perplexing.

I guess they see Tatum and Hopson doing some major improvement for next season. But I don't see how they can say that the ranking is good even if Smith leaves. Smith was basically the point guard for this team as well as a major scorer and rebounder. In my opinion, he leaves a void that Negedu has no prayer of filling.

I agree, I say if you expand the picture a bit we'd be in that 25-40 range but not #20.
