Tonight's game made it clear that we still struggle with SEC road games, a weakness that continues to haunt us. In my view, had Oklahoma started Michael Hawkins instead of Jackson Arnold, the outcome could have been very different. The real turning point wasn't necessarily our play but the fact that Oklahoma simply ran out of time.

What’s more concerning is that Tennessee's road games in conference are beginning to mirror the struggles we saw during Heupel's first year, which is simply inexcusable at this stage of the program. The undisciplined penalties are glaring indicators of a deeper issue, and they reflect a lack of focus and control. On top of that, Nico, who was touted as a generational QB talent, has yet to live up to that hype. He hasn’t shown the breakout ability we were led to expect, and that’s a significant concern moving forward.

Tennessee is 2-5 in Fayetteville and has not won there since 2001,
