The Diamond Vols won all five games it played last week to start the 2014 campaign with a perfect 7-0 record. Freshman designated hitter Nick Senzel and sophomore lefty Andy Cox earned the weekly nominations.
I am extremely excited about this team . . . Lots of potential all around! I like the way the pitchers attack the lower strike zone and love the way the middle infield is playing, several 6-4-3 double plays.
