Tennessee BBall #18 in latest AP Poll

The book on how to negate Tennessee's playmakers is in the public domain now, and it doesn't require players with special physical attributes to execute.

Our guys have been instructed on what to do, but making those changes while maintaining normal focus has been the challenge--thus, more turnovers and lowered shooting percentages.

How soon they accustom themselves to the newly demanded style of play, and return to their normal rates of shots and drops, will determine when they begin to rise again in the polls. But until it's complete, the transition is ugly to watch.

About where we belong. Ranking all year was predicated by the arrival of 2 5 stars and Fulkerson, Pons, James and Vescovi
And Yet those 2 5*ā€™s are coming off the bench when they should be starting. Vescovi and James should be coming off the bench in place of our 2 freshman form what I have seen.

My preference would have Vescovi, Johnson and Springer starting on the perimeter

Unfortunately their weaknesses are being exposed right now, not to mention a couple of the guys look like they've been on vacation the past 2 games.

It really makes us easy to defend he. We shoot the ball like crap.
