They are playing in the NIT tournament in Nashville on Monday, November 13th & Tuesday, November 14th. They play Fordham on the 13th at 8pm ET, with Belmont and UNC-Wilmington also playing that night in the second game of a double-header at approximately 10:30pm ET.

With the return to the regional common site format, each team is guaranteed to play two games, which is good for the fans that want to travel to support their team.

If they win on Monday, then they will play the UNC-Wilmington/Belmont winner at approximately 9pm ET on Tuesday night in the regional championship game, with the winner advancing to New York for the tourney's version of the Final-4.

If they lose on Monday, they will play the UNC-Wilmington/Belmont loser at 6pm ET on Tuesday in the regional consolation game.

Baylor, Belmont, Butler, Colorado State, Fordham, Gonzaga, Indiana, Iona, Lafayette, North Carolina, North Carolina-Wilmington, Notre Dame, Rice, Sacred Heart, Tennessee and Winthrop are the teams that make up the entire "NIT Season Tip-Off" tournament field.

As far as games in Nashville go, the Vols also play Oklahoma State in the Gaylord Entertainment Center on December 18th. They also return to Nashville on January 10th to play at Vanderbilt.

As far as seating for the Gaylord Entertainment Center, here is the best seating chart that I could find:

How much will a ticket cost for the P-NIT in Nashville? I should run down there and watch'em play.

I think UNCW was a 16-seed.

I'd have to look that up but I am pretty sure that's not right. I rember watching them in Greensboro last year and they almost beat somebody, Seton Hall maybe.

UNC Wilmington was a 9 seed in the Atlanta region. They lost to George Washington in the first round.

Belmont was a 15.

GW, that's it. They played that game in Greensboro and I remember it being a close game.

No problem, hope it helped. As it stands right now, I plan to go to the NIT as well - that's why I've looked into it and had saved a copy of the seating chart.

I'm a huge college basketball fan, and I usually check out any posts concerning Vols hoops or college basketball. (I just wish that there were more of them!)

Isn't it great to be able to talk UT football and mens and womens basketball knowing all are championship material! With the warmup game Tuesday there will be plenty of UT hoop talk!

I wish I could go. It looks like I am going to be stuck trick-or-treating. I had heard that they were having some Halloween activities before the game. Anyone hear this?
