We all know one. It's been so tough listening to these losers for the last 15 years, knowing they will jump ship to a new team as soon as Bama starts to slip. It's going to be awful tempting to buy some Tennessee gear with all the excitement around the program. Don't. We don't want or need you.

They aren’t welcome on Heupel’s War Wagon. If you weren’t with us during Dooley, Butch and Pruitt you don’t get to wave your Tennessee flag now.

They won't. Most of the band wagon fans that go to Alabama just hate Tennessee based on my experience. They will go find another team that is a rival to us to cheer for.

Some of them are former Vanderbilt fans.

At the rate we are going let them. Then we will beat their new “favorite team” as well.

Unless a person bleeds Orange, like we do, I can't fault them for losing interest during those years. The uninitiated can't get excited about a bad football team.

They are all over the place. I always ask them...

So you weren't born in AL. You never lived in AL. You didn't go to school in Tuscaloosa. SO WHY ARE YOU A BAMA FAN?

They could have orange, checkerboards, Smoky, Rocky Top! Plain stupid.

True. But there’s something to be said for enduring what we have as a fan base and now getting to experience what’s happening now. I think 90% of our fan base are true. Even during our down years we were packing one of the largest stadiums in the country. I just loathe team jumpers.

Absolutely agree.
When we are good, it is easier for the people wearing Orange as as fashion and status statement.
The troopers are those of us wearing Orange for the last 15 years. I always proudly wore Orange. I never let is slide when bandwagon Bammers had something to say.

Yep. North East TN is full of them. They have no ties to Bama. Many have never been in Alabama. Few know anything about Bama b4 Saban. They are the worst kind of fans. I bet they won't be wearing their Bama stuff this week.

There's a lot of good football to watch that isn't intentionally antagonizing your neighbors, though. You can cheer for whoever you want in every game, no loyalty getting in the way of your enjoyment. If you're cheering for Bama in Tennessee, you're trying to piss someone off.

Most I know have no real ties to Alabama and jumped on the bandwagon around.....oh 2008. I can always tell who isn't a real Alabama fan come basketball season when they suddenly start caring about Duke, North Carolina, or Kentucky.

Out of the numerous Bama "fans" I know, maybe 10% of them root for Bama in everything.

I have a friend from back in high school, always a hometown hater, took a trip with his wife to Florida and went through Athens Ga, been a Bulldog fan because he had a nice afternoon stop on Athens. Some people just hate the home team and are too cool to root for them.

Yeah there will be a lot of Alabama and Georgia fans from Tennessee who will say they're Tennessee fans

You will also see a lot of fair weather Vol fans start popping up around the country if the team continues in the right direction. It seems like 20-25 years ago, I could go just about anywhere in the country, and if the crowd was big enough, I would see a BO hat, shirt or jacket. It's not like that now.
