I live down here in this swampy hell-hole and the word around here is that it's a done deal. Not saying I have a source or anything, but I listen to local sports radio, and two different talk show hosts both said that they thought it was a done deal. The general thought is that he gets to come back home, and that we probably don't have the funds to compete with what LSU, (who has already lost two coaches) will offer him. Something interesting that might affect this though is that apparently LSU's current wide receiver coach allegedly paid a recruit to come to LSU from a community college in California. The same talk show hosts also say that there are probably more recruits involved and that it probably goes higher than this one coach - possibly up to the OC and maybe even up to Miles.

We'll see what shakes out in the next week or so. Might mean probation for LLLLLSSSSSHHHUUUUU which would probably deter recruits (and recruitERS) from signing up down here.

Matt Milton was recruited by Coach O. Milton is staying. Wilson might go to LSU, but LSU WR Commit Justin Hunter will be going to UT.

They are talking about losing DT Johnson from '11 class, which blows because he is 1 of the top 3 DT's in that class.

Losing a defesensive lineman i dont really think will hurt us it hasnt been that hard to get defensive players to commit IMO

Johnson is a distant cousin, its not like its his younger brother. Orgeron will be all over this kid. If Wilson takes job, that's not the end of recruiting this kid.

Was LSU even recruiting Milton that hard? Awful late in the game for him to change if he will be an EE.

No LSU never even offered. Matt will not go anywhere regardless of CFW. He already has his classes down and is ready for spring practice. This thread should be destroyed. :drive2:

The article isn't talking about Milton.. The real headline is "Tennessee may lose a recruiter to LSU" not recruit..
