Led by a stellar start from freshman righthander Daniel Vasquez, Tennessee defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats, 7-1, in the Vols' 2016 Home Opener at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Wednesday night.

Nice start to the season. I saw that Cincy was winless at 0-6, but they did take LSU and UGa to extra innings. So still a nice win.

And know I'm a little late to the party, but its also great to have Simcox back working with the hitters again.
