A four-run first inning by Kentucky proved to be a little too much for the Tennessee baseball team (16-4, 1-2) to overcome, as the Wildcats (11-8, 2-1) claimed the rubber match and the weekend series wit a 7-3 victory on Sunday afternoon at Cliff Hagen Stadium.

we needed this series very badly. i believe the cupcake schedulw we played this year will come back to haunt us. i think right now, at least 6 teams are ranked in the top 25, if they take 2 out of 3 every weekend from us , that is 14 losses for us counting today. let's face it, t r will be let go after this season. i hate to see someone lose their job, but he has had enough time to build this team and has not done that. we'll probably end up 28-28. not good enough todd sorry :salute: :salute:
