That's a very solid roster for both sides, I'll be anxious to see this game. Get another chance to see Devrin & Kyler play. Also get a chance to see some of the other solid prospects in the state.

Whit Shelton and Trent Garland are 2 of my good friends and it's nice to see them invited to this game, I don't no how Trent isn't getting more attention on defence he had over 50 stops 8 picks multiple td's and on offence he had 1626 yards and 28 td's (school record) and 2 kickoffs returns for TD's also he was District 8 AAA player of the year same District as Tra'D Goff

The higher rated prospects that are missing may have opted out of playing. The EE's for UT may not want to risk an injury in a meaningless game when they have the chance to get a few bowl practices in later in the month. The fact that the game is only a week after the state championship could be another reason for some. Some kids just do not want to play in it.

There is going to be a Tennessee-Virginia Senior Bowl on Dec. 18th played at Science Hill High School in Johnson City. Maybe they are playing in this. I haven't been able to find a roster. This is the first year I have known them to do this.

Yeah, IIRC they are only allowed one all-star game per NCAA rules so those that aren't playing in this one may be playing in a different one. In addition to the others mentioned, I think there is one between Tennessee and Georgia as well.
