The University of Tennessee baseball team (8-7) managed just four hits off of preseason All-American Alex Wimmers Sunday afternoon, as it fell 2-0 to No. 17 Ohio State (9-4) in the fifth game of the Arby's Classic at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Volunteer pitching staff continued to impress in the defeat, as seniors Stephen McCray and Steve Crnkovich allowed just single runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

As terrible as my alma-mater did this weekend (losing to the Herd 17-1 ICK!) Alex Wimmers is definitely pro material and that makes me happy.

At least the Vols pulled out two wins this weekend...

That guy is projected to go first-round this season, and definitely lived up to the hype. Can't believe that they made him throw 130 pitches in a March game, tho.

Some college coaches will throw their better pitchers' arms outs...130 pitches is rediculous.....DeerPark....you hear anything on McCray's injury?
