Many fans wanted chaos and ironically it was Tennessee's inability to do it's job and beat Alabama or Georgia which has now caused this chaos. We let them both get around us.

A 2 loss Alabbubba even if they were the SEC champ would not be considered for the playoffs.

A 2 loss Georgia team who lost the SEC champ would absolutely not be considered.

Ironically, I think LSU is the main culprit. They lost to FSU and Alabama. Had LSU beat FSU, we wouldn't be talking right now. It is kind of fun to think LSU ruined Alabama's playoff hopes by not beating FSU.

I hate Alabama but I am becoming more of a fan of leaving Michigan out due to their OOC schedule. People will say that if Alabama didn't play Texas, they would be in.

I would fault the invisible zebra thumb on the scale for that bama game. Maybe this is karma for the SEC for buying officials. I'm gonna love watching finebaum blow a gasket on Monday. All those georgia and bama bubbas will be threatening to beat each other up. Clowns.

They're not going to be considered for the playoff anyway. Outside of SEC fans no-one really views our conference as the top conference this year. The only team Georgia beat that was noteworthy is Missouri. Alabama can hang their hat on Ole Miss. The out of conference and in conference for both was weak otherwise. I thought last night that either team if they did win the SEC and make it, would win the Championship. But that's based on the notion our conference is the top this year. It isn't, both are teams are beatable and aren't really so impressive. They won't make it in.

Well that didn't age well 😂

I figured they weren't doing FSU with a 3rd string QB plus if you ask yourself who would win in a head to head matchup it's not hard to imagine that Bama would crush FSU in their current state. FSU could barely beat Louisville and Louisville lost to Kentucky for God's sake.

I should've known but everything I said about Alabama and the SEC being weak this season is a fact. We all know Alabama doesn't deserve this and isn't one of the best 4 teams. They're in it based purely on their historical perception. Which has zero relevance for any other team but them.

The SEC may not be the strongest conference but then again Alabama was the only team that beat the number one team in the nation. Bama is also clearly better than FSU or anybody else in the ACC.

I would have put Georgia in ahead of Bama but you can't ignore that Bama manhandled Georgia in the SEC championship.

Is Bama beatable, yes. Will they be champions this year? Probably not. But After yesterday I would have chosen the exact 4 teams that the committee chose.

They'd probably have the 2nd string QB ready to go. That wasn't supposed to be a determining factor anyways but when you have Alabama on the precipice this is the result. Alabama is the weak link here not FSU.

Georgia was a paper tiger #1. Their strength of schedule was atrocious. The only team they beat of note was Missouri who themselves play a very weak schedule.

We will have to disagree there. Bama would pound FSU head to head. Georgia is far better than FSU as well and Bama beat them. Texas is better than Bama but that isn't in question here. People hung up on "undefeated power 5 team" need to reevaluate their perception of these conferences in the age of consolidation. The ACC is absolutely trash and I suspect in 10 years they won't exist anymore.

If they were a paper tiger then Tennessee could have beaten them instead of being shamed.

Take off the orange colored glasses. We're part of the reason their in conference schedule is weak. Missouri wiped the floor with us for heaven's sake.

I hate f’n ALABUBBA and because of the zebras and Saban bitching they are 4. I’m not a FSU fan, but they’re getting robbed!!

I’m not sure but they sure deserve the opportunity to tee it up and play 60 minutes. I’m totally sick of Saban and ALABUBBA
You’re not sure? Holy cow. I don’t like Bama but you’re blinded by your hatred of them. You want the most deserving teams in which is fine I guess … I’d rather have the teams playing the best right now in it.

Alabama wasn't at their best this year. They're not deserving and deserving isn't actually what the committee goes by is it? "Deserving" is such a subjective, opinionated thing not based on fact.

Doesnt matter what power 5 conference you're in going undefeated is a big deal. Alabama played close to a lot of teams that they should have trounced and are only a miracle last second play away from not even being in this conversation. Which they never should have been in after Texas thumped their asses anyways. FSU took care of business with a backup and then a 4 star third stringer. He's not a chump. Ridiculous that an undeserving, unqualified Alabama team gets to slide into the playoff yet again.

Yeah, let's just turn CFB into CBB and have a meaningless regular season. Yay.

I’d rather watch the 4 best teams. I understand that others would rather have the 4 most deserving teams. That’s fine too. But, the games matter in either scenario. That’s a dumb argument. Georgia is sitting at home because of the SEC Championship. Washington had +4000 odds to win the NC before the season. So the games still mattered. The committee took context into it as well which they should have. FSU against Florida and Louisville wasn’t the team that went 11-0. They got it right under the circumstances.
