Fulton Falcons squeek by the Carter Hornets 63-60 to go 21 and 3, with the 3 losses to highly ranked teams in bigger classifications. Maryville, Cleveland and Oak Ridge are the 3 losses. In other words, Fulton looks like back-to-back state champions. Jody's getting to be a legend. Damn, I wish I could go back and really listen and let him really coach me, instead of being such a dumb, f%ck up. I never bought in, of course, his 1st year, after replacing Coach New was my freshman year. I like to tell myself, he was still learning, and wasn't the coach, he is now. But, like Red Foreman would say, "Dumba$$"

Like I said before, Fulton has a solid chance to win a state title but they can be beat. I'm rooting for Elizabethton from here in Northeast Tennessee but I think they get beat in the Regionals/Sectionals.

Meigs County(20-10) put up 107 vs Midway. 107-40.

Middle Tennessee Christian improved to 23-4 after beating Community 76-52.

Clarksville NE(20-8) defeated Rossview 55-51.

Camden(24-5) defeated Fairview 74-68.

Richland(23-2) beat Cornersville 71-41.

Upperman(24-5) defeated Livingston Academy 62-53.

East Nashville(21-7) won over Stratford 92-66.

LEAD Academy(23-5) defeated McEwen 59-49.

Antioch(21-4) defeated Hillsboro 60-41.

Southwind(25-5) defeated Germantown 68-48.

Dyersburg(25-1) defeated Obion County 78-55.

Elizabethton(23-8) was upset in a big way today in the District 1AA semis by a score of 82-66 by Unicoi County(18-13).

Sullivan East(25-7) is in action right now in the other District 1AA semi-final vs Happy Valley(14-14). The score is East 38-20 at the half. East went on to beat Happy Valley 75-42. All 4 teams advance to the 1AA Regionals.

Dobyns-Bennett(12-16) also pulled off somewhat of an upset by defeating David Crockett(17-14) by a score of 67-64. This advances D-B to the Regionals on what was a sub-par season.

Knox Fulton(22-3) beat Union County 66-52.

Most other important games are still in progress. I will try to come back & update scores tonight.

Science Hill(22-9) won the boys 3AAA championship tonight over Daniel Boone(17-12) 67-49. Both teams advance to the 3AAA Regional tournament along with Dobyns-Bennett & David Crockett.

Cocke County(19-10) defeated Jeff County(17-13) in the District 2AAA championship by a score of 67-63. The other semi Morristown East defeated Sevier County 69-65. All 4 teams advance to the 2AAA Regionals.

Oak Ridge(24-2) put up 111 points tonight in a victory over Clinton 111-77 in the District 3AAA semis.

Knox Powell(21-8) defeated Knox Karns(20-6) 70-57 in the District 3AAA other semi-final. It will be Oak Ridge vs Powell in the District 3AAA final on Monday night. Knox Karns will take on Clinton in the consolation game with all 4 teams advancing to the 3AAA Regionals.

Knox Carter(17-10) defeated Austin-East(15-8) 79-68 in the District 3AA semis. Fulton has already won the other District 3AA semi-final. It will be Fulton vs Carter in the 3AA final. Union County will play Austin-East in the consolation game. All 4 teams have advanced to the 3AA Regionals.

Grainger(25-4) won over Chuckey Doak-(18-12) in one District 2AA semi 58-41.

Greeneville(17-9) defeated Cumberland Gap(14-9) 37-28 in the other District 2AA semi-final. Grainger will meet Greeneville in the finals. Chuckey-Doak will take on Cumberland Gap in the consolation game with all 4 teams advancing to the 2AA Regionals.

In the District 1A semi-finals Hampton(19-9) defeated South Greene(5-26) by a score of 58-43. The other semi had North Greene(24-7) defeating Cloudland(16-16) by a score of 59-54. Hampton will meet North Greene on Monday night for the Championship. The consolation game will be South Greene taking on Cloudland. All 4 teams have already advanced to the 1A Regional tournament.

They still advanced to the Regionals. Not the state yet. They need to finish in the top 2 teams in the Regionals to advance to the sectionals & then it would be the state. I doubt they make it past the Regionals. Too many teams better than them this season.

Knox Karns(21-6) defeated Clinton tonight 106-96 in the consolation game for District 3AAA playoffs. Both still advance to the Regionals.

Harriman(26-5) beat Meigs County(20-11) by a score of 76-72 in one District 3A semi.

Grace Christian-Knoxville(23-7) beat Tellico Plains(9-18) by a score of 89-61 in the other District 3A semi-final. Harriman will play Grace Christian-Knoxville in the Championship game while Meigs County will play Tellico Plains in the consolation game.

Alcoa(17-11) defeated Scott County(9-18) 94-63 in the District 4AA consolation game. Both teams still advance to the Regionals.

Howard(16-10) beat East Ridge(11-16) 61-57 in the District 6AA consolation game. Both teams still advance to the Regionals.

Community(13-17) defeated Eagleville(15-14) 91-90 in the District 9A consolation game but both teams still advance to the Regionals.

Crockett County(24-5) in the slimmest of margins defeated Dyersburg(25-2) 91-90 in the District 13AA Championship game. Both teams will advance to the Regionals.

McKenzie(19-10) defeated Huntingdon(17-8) 53-50 in the District 13A Championship game.

The consolation game in District 13A was Dresden(16-9) beating West Carroll(13-17) 57-46. All 4 teams advance to the Class A Regionals.

North Greene defeated Hampton in Championship game in the District 1A 48-47. North Greene is the #1 seed in D1A in Regionals.

Elizabethton defeated Happy Valley 69-59 in the consolation game in District 1AA. Sullivan East skimmed by Unicoi County 58-57 to win the District 1AA Championship game. All 4 teams advance to the Class AA Regionals. Sullivan East is the #1 seed from D1AA for the Regionals.

Cumberland Gap beat Chuckey-Doak 61-51 in District 2AA consolation game. Grainger defeated Greeneville 59-46 in the 2AA Championship game. All 4 teams advance to the Class AA Regionals. Grainger is the #1 seed from D2AA for the Regionals.

Knox Fulton defeated Knox Carter 72-35 to win the District 3AA Championship game. Austin-East beat Union County 58-50 in the consolation game. All 4 of these teams advance to the Class AA Regionals. Fulton is the #1 seed from D3AA for the Regionals.

Oak Ridge beat Knox Powell 86-58 to win the District 3AAA Championship & grab the #1 seed from Region 3AAA.

Knox Catholic defeated CAK 70-54 to win the District 4AA Championship game & get the #1 seed from Region 4AA.

Knox Bearden beat Maryville 75-70 to win the District 4AAA Championship game. Hardin Valley beat Knox West 64-58 in the consolation game. All 4 teams will advance to the Class AAA Regionals. Knox Bearden is the #1 seed from D4AAA in the Regionals.

Jellico defeated Wartburg in the District 4A Championship game 81-75. Coalfield beat Oakdale 67-66 to win the consolation game. All 4 teams move onto the Class A Regionals. Jellico is the #1 seed from D4A for the Regionals.

Cleveland beat East Hamilton 77-47 in the District 5AAA Championship game. Walker Valley defeated Bradley Central 64-59 in the consolation game. All 4 teams advanced to the Class AAA Regionals. Cleveland is the #1 seed from D5AAA in the Regionals.

White County beat Cookeville 39-37 in the District 6AAA Championship game. Stone Memorial beat Warren County 49-46 in the consolation game. All 4 teams advance to the Class AAA Regionals. White County is the #1 seed from D6AAA in the regionals.

Blackman defeated Oakland 52-34 to win the 7AAA Championship game. Riverdale beat Stewarts Creel 53-49 to take the consolation game. All 4 teams move onto the Class AAA Regionals. Blackman is the #1 seed from D7AAA in the Regionals.

Lawrence County beat Lincoln County 65-58 to win the District 8AAA Championship game. Columbia defeated Franklin County 58-40 to win the consolation game. All 4 teams have advanced to the Class AAA Regionals. Lawrence County is the #1 seed from D8AAA in the Regionals.

Lebanon beat Station Camp 39-35 to win the District 9AAA Championship game. Mt. Juliet beat Beech 55-48 to win the consolation game. All 4 teams advance to the Class AAA Regionals. Lebanon will be the #1 seed from D9AAA in the Regionals.

White House Heritage beat White House 68-52 to win the District 9AA Championship game. White House Heritage will be the #1 seed from D9AA in the Regionals.

Mt. Pleasant defeated Cornersville 69-46 to win the consolation game in District 11A. Columbia Academy defeated Richland 49-45 in the District 11A Championship game. All 4 teams advance to the Class A Regionals. Columbia Academy will be the #1 seed from D11A in the Regionals.

CPA beat Cascade 60-50 to win the consolation game in District 12AA. Marshall County beat Giles County 75-55 to win the District 12AA Championship game. All 4 teams advance to the Class AA Regionals. Marshall County will be the #1 seed from D12AA in the Regionals.

Loretto defeated Perry County 66-57 to win the consolation game in District 12A. Collinwood beat Wayne County 50-49 to win the Championship game in District 12A. All 4 teams move onto the Class A Regionals. Wayne County will be the #1 seed from D12A in the Regionals.

Brighton defeated Dyer County 72-59 in District 13AAA Championship game. Brighton captures the #1 seed in D13AAA in the Regionals.

Lexington defeated McNairy Central 63-51 in District 14AA consolation game. Fayette Ware beat Jackson South Side 77-75 in the District 14AA Championship game. All 4 teams advance to the Class AA Regionals. Fayette Ware will be the #1 seed from D14AA in the Regionals.

Jackson Christian beat Trinity Christian 65-29 in the consolation game of District 15A. Middleton defeated Decatur County Riverside 67-56 to win the Championship game in District 15A. All 4 teams are moving onto the Class A Regionals. Middleton grabs the #1 seed from D15A in the Regionals.

Mitchell beat MASE 61-48 to win the Championship game in District 16A. Mitchell will be the #1 seed from D16A in the Regionals.

Sheffield defeated Douglass 70-68 to win the Championship game in District 16AA. Sheffield grabs the #1 seed from D16AA in the Regionals.

Memphis East defeated Whitehaven 84-66 to win the Championship game in District 16AAA. Memphis East takes the #1 seed from D16AAA in the Regionals.
