When we had Adoo in the game we steadily pulled ahead. It was obvious that we were better. Only when both Adoo and Awaka were on the bench did Bama close the gap. We had to survive about half the game without those two on the floor. If they weren't called for so many touch fouls, I think we would have ran them out of their own house. Two games in a row where we had to come from behind in the second half. This is a mentally tough team. I am impressed.

I thought the first two fouls on Awaka were awful calls. One of them for sure did not happen.

We are flat out the best team in the SEC. There’s only about 5 or 6 teams nationwide, if that, that I don’t think we’re better than and some of those I just haven’t seen play enough so I’m going off of resumes.

Once again, the officials controled the tempo and that is just sad
At least they called the game consistently throughout, even if they called a bunch of crap fouls on us. They at least called them the whole game vs the yo-yo calling where what was not a foul in the first half suddenly is in the second.

Still waiting to see what that Estrella and Awaka combination looks like, particularly on the offensive end of the court

I'm not sure there are even that many. Maybe UConn and Houston. We're probably better than Purdue if Edey isn't on the foul line all day, and I believe we're better than Arizona. But it's all moot once the madness starts, right?

Completely agree on Purdue. I really want to see them again as I truly believe we’re better. And I’m with you, I was being conservative at 5-ish. And when I say I don’t think we’re better than, I mean I don’t think we’re clearly better than. At this juncture I don’t look at any team and say they’re clearly better than us. Back in Maui I thought Kansas was a little better than us but not anymore. I can’t wait to see this team in the tournament.

Alabama honed in on him. He didn't necessarily have a "bad" game, Alabama was just focused in and forgot the other players on the court. Zeigler, especially, had a great game.
By bad game i actually meant he missed some open shots he normally drills. They did make him work.
