During the miss state football game unfortunately or I would’ve gone. Going to try to get to Illinois instead.

Do we have any good non-con home games this year? I can’t keep track. I know we are now headed to Louisville, and we have our MTE and the neural site against Miami, but I’m hoping this won’t be a year that our fans have nothing to look forward to in the non-con. I suppose we do have the SEC/ACC challenge. Anything else?

So, Illinois and Louisville both on the road, plus the neutral site games. Just one home game in the SEC/ACC challenge. Man, Rick is a glutton for punishment. That is a brutal schedule. Worse than this past year possibly.

We’re getting UNC again? I get we were both champions but I figured they’d mix it up

He’s just speculating. But since we play Miami already, possibly Virginia, and Duke is unlikely, they’ll want to put us against one of the top ACC teams as they usually try to match teams up at least somewhat based on strength. Not sure who else there is.

It’s also another year with a lot of smoke that Indiana may be the big home game this year with us going there in 2025. I would love for that to happen but seems like we always hear about that game being scheduled then it just disappears.

Maybe...but ESPN's Lunardi has Louisville in his "first four out" for 2024-25, so.....
If true, that would make it a Quad 1 road game.
On3 transfer portal shows Louisville getting quite the haul (#1) with the ENTIRE team made up of transfer portal players

Granted....getting a BRAND NEW team in their first game might be a huge handicap for Louisville and a nice bonus for Tennessee (RPI boost if Louisville eventually did make the tourney/NIT)

Louisville fired the worst Division I head coach in college basketball history in Kenny Payne, the entire roster left, and new coach Pat Kelsey (hired from College of Charleston) recruited 13 new players and brought in arguably the #1 portal class in the country. This will be a fun series.

With the SEC / Big Twelve series it was one opponent two consecutive years, then the next opponent. Is the SEC / ACC series format different?

Game should be one sided again like it was when we met a few years back.

Louisville really screwed up their program.
So we have one more open slot for a non-conferencr game, right?
