Students and professors of the Know Rivalry Project have been studying the most intense rivalries in professional sports through a survey that asks fans questions about their loyalty to their team and then assigning points in accordance with their biggest rivals. We have expanded our research to NCAA Men's Basketball. Please help us ensure that Tennessee's Men's Basketball is included by taking this survey: https://umassamherst.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3FdJ8eN2EgFCfCB?grpID=1472&mbsrc=SPB307

Our previous research and results have been featured in numerous sports media outlets, as well as the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. You can view those results and learn more about us at our KnowRivalry.com website. We appreciate your help in including Tennessee Men's Basketball by participating and please share this with any other fans that may also help.

I went with the following:

Kentucky - 35
Vanderbilt - 20
Florida - 15
UConn - 15 (women's)
Alabama - 5
Memphis - 10 (I almost forgot to include Memphis)

I got about 2/3 through the damn thing and gave up. Too many questions and I have a lot better things to be doing. Before giving up I selected Kentucky 30, Vanderbilt 20, Florida 10, Alabama 9, Memphis 8, LSU 7 and after that I can't remember. They ask for 10 rivals, but Tennessee really doesn't have any rivals after Memphis. I did not think of the women when doing this list.

Will do this later today, but my first thought was how might this response change in a few years with a Longhorn addition to the league? Are they already on the lower level of our rivalry list?
