I love that he pokes at bammer for their ridiculously easy schedule.

Given the re-org, scheduling has been ad hoc, that is to say, year to year. Unlike years past when the SEC schedule was set years in advance. This means that the commish (Slive) has an unusual amount of influence over the schedule in the short term and so can set the schedule only almost year to year and easily project likely wins and losses.

So bammer drawing Kentucky says only one thing...Slive wants them back in the BCS for the $$$.

It's pathetic. I hope we can put a big spoke in those plans come Halloween...wouldn't that be SWEET! But in the meantime, bring on the cocks.

:good!:

We were not Georgia's punching bag. We went toe to toe. They were fortunate to escape with a win.

And you have to think all these tough games are making men of our young players. IMO that has already started to pay off and will definitely do so down the road.

I think the article is saying that TN is the best barometer for how good or bad you are, thanks to our Cuisinart of a schedule!

Name the other team that has to face #1 and #2 on the road this season!

And to win, one of their field goals had to be in the "ridiculous" range...

Looks like you need to get over it too. :whistling:

Not sure who you are directing those statements to, as I've seen no one complaining about expansion in this thread. Only one comment about how the scheduling is temporarily disordered as a consequence of expansion.

Seems to me YOU are the one that needs to get over it if that's all it takes to offend you. The whole Vol Nation has more than welcomed your program to the SEC. Don't be so sensitive.

It really doesn't matter. Oregon's style is to jump on teams quickly and demoralize them after getting so far behind. Bama's game is to pound you into submission. Totally different styles and what works on one team might not necessarily work on another. LSU and Auburn proved that before. Oregon was favored against both of those teams, and got shut down, because both played so physical and had the athletes to compete with Oregon.

In our case, we are still trying to form an identity....still trying to get SEC level play from our QB and WR's. It will come.

Thats a crock of crap, and I referenced the last line in the article which clearly not everyone has even bothered to click on. Its just cooler to talk crap to "outsiders" on VN these days. I get that.

Ah well, once Sumlin leaves for USCw and Manziel goes off to the pros, I think TAMU will be complaining about that same conference expansion.
