Tennessee needs a major hire

If Tennessee is going to make any headway in the SEC it is going to take a major hire. Right now there is a total of 6 SEC teams in the top 10 in the BCS rankings. I will not mention hires like Golden, Patterson, and Jones. It would take a hire like Stoops, Fisher, and Mora to actually compete in the SEC again. The hire that would most make sense in Mora. Stoops has 2 victories over the top 25 teams, Fisher has 1 win out of the top 10. That is all while Mora has 3 wins out of the top 25 with UCLA. It might be hard to pull Mora from UCLA, but it is a lot better hire than a candidate like Strong that has 0 wins in the top 25. That is majorly because he hasn't faced a top 25 team, and the only SEC team he has faced this year is Kentucky.

I don't care ... just thought Hart is in over his head with all the names that are coming up on every 100 or so topics. If its not one of the top 3 coaches mentioned then Tennessee is in big trouble the next decade or so. I love this college and always will, but I hate to see it being dragged through the mud. I do not think Hart has a clue who the next coach will be. If he does already have a hire chances are it will be Smart.

Hart does not care about Volnation or any of the 5000 coaches not named Gruden mentioned here.

Hart is on day 8 of his signature hire.. I assure you, he is not rushing this. He knows what it takes and he is not over his head.

Will he hire Smart? Who knows...unil he is standing behind the podium announcing the hire neither will we.

I feel a lot better with Hart holding the reigns than I did with Hamilton before.
