I just never get tired of the ole orange jersey w/ white pants

Eh, the lighting is what makes that reimagined jersey artwork look cool. It's fun to imagine, but if you took those colors and fabrics - especially the khaki colored cargo-ish game pants - and put them out there for a bright sunny noon kickoff, that outfit isn't going to look gritty. Just kinda silly and antiquated. Certainly doesn't feel like it would fit with Tennessee's modern brand.

We have a brand? I think UGA, Bama, Auburn, LSU and some others do but our program is the fashion queen program of the SEC.

How many teams before 1920 wore anything other than black or white? I bet very few, but we want to make it into some kind of tradition. If UT's official colors are a problem then change them completely.

This is a ridiculous take. Our brand is orange and white and everyone knows it. Adding in some alternates doesn't change that.

Besides Florida, Vandy, SC, Ole Miss, etc all have a ton of alternates as well.

LOL. I'd say Bama has a good brand.

uga? seriously? uga copied the Green Bay Packers helmet and has absolutely no distinguishing characteristic of its program (for example, can you name the fight song, or a single particular tradition?) The red it uses is generic, and how many thousands of schools are the 'Bulldogs'?

LSU is pretty well known nationally, but less so than UT. Auburn is in the same boat.

Tennessee? Rocky Top may the single most recognizable fight song in NCAA (love it or hate it). The Orange is unique, and no other school uses the same mascot. A tarnished brand due to mismanagement and neglect, but a very well known and recognizable brand nonetheless. Only Bama perhaps tops it in the SEC.
