Tennessee Power T vs Texas T

from what you said earlier? That's their main uniform? os is it an alternative or something?

I don't think the baseball team has an everyday uniform. You rarely see the same uniform in consecutive games. It could be a " power T", "VOLS", "TENNESSEE", "interlocking UT". It could be black, orange, white, or pin stripes/no pin stripes.

Both universities may use it in their respective spheres of influence, both seem to have gone away from it. No biggie here. Texas mostly uses the longhorn logo anyway, now.

where is it on utsports.com?

not used as an official logo, I meant in how the the university doesn't use the old ut for things like: news released involving the athletic programs, it's not a logo given for the NCAA's use (/distribution?), it's not a logo that's - i'm not familiar how rights work for what logos schools allow sports media to use with regard to their program, but there as well

that kind of stuff...

and that it's not a logo put up around the stadiums anymore, from what I can tell

Texas, by comparison, still puts that on all sorts of stuff including sales, merchandise, the stadium has a few, etc; by comparison, we don't

I'm not familiar with the baseball team uniforms or alternatives they might wear unfortunately; enlighten me please

The only part that gets under my craw is when Texas fans called themselves the “real UT” no you idiots. The university of Tennessee was around FIRST! I don’t care about any damn war in Texas. University of Tennessee was established first, hence we are the original UT and they can go jump on a cactus

Seems like Tennessee/Texas would be a pretty good series historically. Maybe not right now at the moment but I'm surprised we haven't played more. We've only played 3 times and not since 1969.

And basketball would be a good series for obviously reasons.

"Remember the Alamo!" was a phrase that originated as Neyland's 8th game maxim. It was later appropriated as the official Texas state motto which they printed on all their money for a number of years before being admitted into the Union. After that they were forced to print "Go Big Orange!" like the rest of the states. They soon appropriated the color orange as well, though they got the shade wrong. It seems one of the Pony Express riders accidentally dropped the Tennessee football jersey he was carrying into the Mississippi River as he rode across on a ferry... by the time he fished it our it had taken up a sort of dirty-brown from the muddy-ole-Mississippi. A fateful event, to be sure.
