March 20th is Tennessee's Pro Day...

Will all of our guys want to participate?

Is this an open event to the public?

I know that all have impressed the scouts, especially Bray. I'm proud of our boy to do big things in the NFL!

He did until he did interviews. It sounds like his one word answers did not go over well. I still hope he makes a ton of money and goes on to have a long, successful career.

Sorry, but I predict Bray will be a flop. He simply lacks the intangibles that great QBs possess. It takes more than a big arm in the NFL. I wish all of our guys well though....just stating my honest opinion of him.

Bray's success will mostly depend on which team drafts him.

Should he go to San Diego or Pittsburgh and serve as a back up to Ben or Rivers, then he will do well. Pittsburgh & San Diego are fairly solid teams and he will have plenty of time to learn the system and learn to be a pro.

However; if he goes to Buffalo or Cleveland and is forced to start before the season is over, due to injuries to the starter, then the wheels will fall off. He will not be ready to play very much this season and playing him would be a disaster.

It all depends on the situation that he is drafted in to.

You also have to look at the system they run...SD and Pittsburg run more of west coast style mainly out of shotgun as to where Cleveland and buffalo run more of a dink and dunk style offense with small receivers, under center, and more of a downhill run team

Wrong. Bray has the stuff that you can't teach. He has the arm and the size. A good coach or QB can teach him how to pick apart a defense.

Yeah..he's an awesome leader and a hell of a competitor!! Yeah right! How many times did he put his team on his back and lead his team to come from behind victories??? Yeah, I don't remember either! He's missing the "intangibles" and the scouts know it.

I'm no Bray defender (he certainly had his flaws, including lack of leadership), but the problem last year was on defense. Pretty hard for ANY qb to come from behind when the D gives up 6 EVERY time it hits the field.

But tends to throw into coverage and that may be a tough adjustment since windows are even smaller in NFL. But, if he gets more coaching, he has incredible talent and I believe he is going with right attitude, planning on working hard to continue to learn.

I also believe we owe him extra loyalty because he told Kiffin and Orgerron NO when they tried to get him to defect back to his home state. Instead, his parents moved to Tennessee.

I am for all 5 of our guys but especially for BRAY. The first recruit to choose UT over Kiffin and USC....first of many.... GBO!!

I just can't recall any QB legends that lacked true leadership skills and the heart of a lion.

How does he lack any of what you say? I can make e very logical and factual argument that the worst defense in UT history cost him his games. Any NFL gm will see that as well. Leadership means nothing in the NFL. There are a hundred guys who can be "leaders." Bray can very easily succeed in the NFL, and none of it rests on his ability to "lead."

Uhhh.....just wondering, have you ever played the QB position? Well I have and if there's a position on the field that requires leadership......it's at QB. He is the pulse of the offense and you'd better have somebody under center that keeps a fire lit at ALL COST!!! I never doubted Brays arm talent, but it takes MORE THAN THAT to be special! Bray will be lucky if he's taken in the 2nd or 3rd round! He simply lacks in some areas. The NFL won't be able to make him something he's not! Go Vols!
