I found a neat football stats dashboard at numbug.com. It shows where the Vols are in relation to the other SEC schools at this point.

to be optimistic, keep in mind we are probably number 1 in the category of games played against top 10 competition (at least to this point in the season).

The numbers are probably slightly skewed. We have played UF, Cal, and AF. That is by far the toughest opening schedule of any team in the SEC.
