Defense: 6.6/Game

Margin: +0.6

VS. 1-50 RPI: 0-0

VS. 51-100 RPI: 0-3

Team HR: 19

Team ERA: 5.47

Team BB: 96

Team Fld.%: .963

Tennessee Tech has been capable of scoring a lot of runs, pitching has been their achilles heel. Fielding has also been an issue with 24 errors in 18 games. They give up a lot of walks...

In this instance, "little brother" might be applicable. There are lots of similarities between UT and TT.

Though winning won't do much for our RPI, losing would certainly hurt us, this would be a "bad" loss and we can't afford it, even this early.

Hopefully our Vols will come out and take care of business tomorrow.

Holy cow, the ERA and fielding percentages are terrible. I guess they are a step behind Ole Miss in those categories.

If we don't get our pitching straightened out this could be a long season!!

Soph Chase Chambers was a Freshman All American last year and is one of Tech's leading hitters in all categories. The Farragut grad is a good fielding first baseman and another Knoxville native who got away.
