He just ran a reverse in for about a 30 yd TD. 7-0 ttech. What the hell? He couldn't do that here.

Tech would have actually been in this game if we could have any kind of speed close to theirs. O was just so incredibly fast. Could have easily been a 14-20 point game. O was sloppy. They wouldn't be able to handle the top 6 SEC schools.

Chip Kelly is a douche for going for it on 4th and 1 from own 30, as well. Loved seeing them lose 5 on that play.

And their cheerleaders and dance team absolutely put every other SEC schools' I've seen to shame. I focused on them more in the late 2nd thru early 4th.

Most fans were good. Definitely experienced more hospitality at TCU and Auburn, though. A few in the section next to us were saying "Tennessee sucks". I asked why he was talking s*** to a FCS school they paid $500k to play, to quite being ass-hurt over purple and gold (LSU) last year, and that they were playing Tennessee Tech, where Tennessee would be there next year to kick their ass.

Fun trip, all in all, though. Classes don't start 'til next week, though, so Eugene was practically dead every day except Saturday. Definitely a different culture, too. Bikes everywhere. Girls don't get dolled up to go anywhere. Hippie-like culture definitely exists here. Not for the football fans, tho - they were mostly normal big-time D-1 fans just there to watch football.

Besides Alabama and LSU who exactly in the SEC is worth a plug nickel at this point? Georgia? Florida? Who else? Bit early to gauge any conference considering the level of play thus far. I mean ULM is 1-1 against the SEC taking Auburn to OT.

I was at the Tech vs Oregon game....my feeling is that Oregon would be the 4th or 5th best team in SEC. But obviously I am heavily biased. Time will tell

UO is a mystery this year. A tale of two halves. RF QB has been good, and then plays like a RF. OL is great, then mediocre. DT is amazing, then fumbles. I'm hoping with pac 12 play starting they're able to straighten the ship.

nope. they're too sloppy to be a top-3 SEC. they'll argue that, of course, but it's true.

where'd you sit at? I was down in 5 next to Jordan Smith's dad and behind Tre's mom (no not like that).

I was on row 8, seat 9. I know where you were at...I saw Tre's mom with the #9 button on. I just went along with a friend who has a freshman on the team.

Maybe? Hard to tell much against a FCS team. The first team is definitely big and bad. But seemed like the second team looked more the size of Tech. We shall see...

The way UO played against TTU you're right. They'd be lucky to be #3 in the Big 10. UO has a serious issue with playing subpar against teams they should manhandle. Seeing how KSU pulled out (and Georgia in '14) I applaud TTU for coming. And Tenn next year. Hard to get teams to come to UO. Everyone wants a patsy early in the season.

Are you the guy who pulled out his billfold and it had a money clip on the side of it? You were showing them the cash?

If so, yes, I was about three rows behind you. The linebacker Goff's family, from Columbia, I think was right behind you...
