Scratch the uni's, save the helmet (make it a carbon black) and that should be the helmet to go with the new gray uniforms IMO

Fortunately there were color photographs for us to remember the black and white unis after the world turned color sometime in the 1930s.

I doubt it. Seeing as how 10 years before he got there the uniforms were gray. And before that, black.

I know the style of play was different at the time, but I would hate to imagine what it would have been like to wear those thin leather helmets and take a crack back block. Helmet to helmet collisions would be downright violent. Those were some tough mamajamas. Awesome seeing the history of our uni's. GO VOLS!!!
