The torch is about to be passed.

And it's going into some unfamiliar hands.

Tennessee's five starting offensive linemen enter Saturday night's season finale at Kentucky with 172 combined career starts between, and it's likely going to be the final collegiate for all of them.

Come Sunday, the Volunteers will begin the process of retooling and revamping up front, and how the line looks next year certainly will be one of the offseason's biggest storylines.

Yeah, you are right. I hate to see those boys up front leave but sometimes change is a good thing. Go Vols!

Edit: to correct my comma misuse and in hopes of FREAK not pulling my new avatar down. I searched vigorously for a PG conservative brunette. I think she went to Catholic school. FWIW

I think the future is promising for the OL, but I sure would like to see another JUCO lineman or at least another EE commit, although the latter is probably not gonna happen at this point.

Can you imagine going through what those seniors have in their time at UT? I sure can't. Geez.

Yeah, I think you're right she sure looks like she went to a Catholic school. Those Catholic girls are sweet.:pepper:
GO VOLS!

They are definitely a group of good guys but... They haven't been a very productive group. I know you have to be careful what you wish for but I'm ready to get a new group in there. The culture has been so bad the last few years we just need to start over.

I think we'll be fine on OL next year. All year, CBJ and CDM have been pushing the second string guys to practice knowing that they're preparing for next year.

I like those dangly things on her chest. I think it's very tasteful.

Average yards per rush are up and number of sacks allowed are down are you saying Pittman is a better coach because if you are stats do not back your statement.

Throwing bomb after bomb on 3rd & 1 will kill your stats. Chaney loved a good go route on 3rd & inches.

Why did he do that?

Is it possible that he had no faith in the o-line and that is my point we have no proof that Pittman was or is a great coach. He had a NFL QB ,2 NFL WR , and a NFL TE and yet he still had the same exact record we have got this year the only difference is the stats are better this year. I do not think you or any one will deny Bray made them look better in pass protection last year with his decision making and quick release.

My point is I do not deny that the o-line coach has not made these players better but no one can provide any solid proof that he made them worse.

It would be a lot more dismal if the O-line had performed to expectation this year. We lost with them. Badly. If we lose without them, it's just more of the same.

I'm more worried about QB.
