haha thats pretty sweet... The only thing that sucks is that you can't fix them if they break... 300 is a lot to pay for something thats 60+ years old and could break at any moment..

What makes them not fixable?

Lack of parts due to age and manufacturer out of business. We got a similar round top hard locking fridge with the deal when we bought our first house in 1981. It lasted about a year and died. The repairman checked it out and it had a bad thermostat which would cost $175 for parts (if he could find one) plus another $100 for installation. He hot wired it to run full out and we plugged/unplugged it for a week till we had time to get a new one delivered.
