tenn raks 216 personal fouls per game 17.5 . does tenn foul more than 215 other teams i do not think so. larry talks about free throws helping va tech win. i say tenn win but do you think tenn fouls more than 215 teams i think tenn does good to get even called game.

I would not worry about fouls that might happen I would be more concerned about the ladies playing good defense, limiting turnovers and playing offensively as they have the past two games. The ladies have a legitimate shot at winning against VaTech.

Larry needs to do more research. LVs play at a faster pace than VT.

Foul rate would be more accurate:
LVs Foul Rate 20.7% --- Rank 182 / 361
VT Foul Rate 19.8% --- Rank 129 / 361

Plus he's actually talking about FTs not total fouls:
LVs are #8 nationally in FTs attempted.
VT is #126.

This one is a bit confusing but it actually means that LVs opponents were really good at getting to the line in general and VT's opponents were not:
LVs are #300 in opponent FTs attempted.
VT is #80.

I think it is a one to three possession game who make those possessions count will move on. This is a very close game reason we all know rebounding and turnovers will probably decide it unless one team just shoots the ball so badly nothing else matters.

Men’s tourney, first time ever none of the #1 sends make elite 8.
Hopefully it will be a legendary March Madness and none of the women’s top seeds will make the elite 8. Maybe my vision is blurred by orange tinted glasses but I think Lady VOLS will do their part and beat VT 74-69. Unfortunately I don’t see anyone stopping SC.

Sorry, but I am finding this confusing. If LV opponents “were really good at getting to the line in general,” doesn’t this mean that more fouls were called on TN? If that’s true, how did we attempt more free throws? Maybe you could specify whether a lower or higher ranking in the categories is better?

Our opponents were really good at getting to the line, in general. So over the entire season, not just against the LVs, our opponents were much better at drawing fouls than the teams VT played against.

fouls commit per game tenn rank 216 played 36 games commited 17.5 fouls per game va tect ranked #75 played 33 games commited 502 fouls per game avg 15.2 free atts tenn ranked # 36 free throws made 527 free atts 735 free per game made 20.42 free atts va tect ranks #176 free throws made 409 free throw atts 544 free made per game average 16.48 tenn gets called for fouls 17.5 to va tect 15.2 but tenn ranks 36 to va tect ranks on free atts and tenn avg 20.42 made to va tect made 16.48 tenn gets more fouls 2 per game than va tech but vols made 20 free throws to va tect 16 made per game. and vols ranked #36 to va tech ranked #176 at getting to the free throw. tenn must be better at not fouling in the act of shoting than va tect thats how vols have more fouls called on them but get more free atts than va tect. prove to back up what mudcat trying clear the creek up go to ncaa.com they have each stat listed for all womens d1 team and where they ranked in each stat.

tenn ranks 36 in free atts to va tect ranks 176 fouls commited tenn ranks 216 fouls commited va tect 75. what the problem is there no in act of shoting fouls or not shoting fouls stats .

They're referring to Geno's obnoxious little tantrum about the officiating in Knoxville. "This is what you get when you come down here."

As opposed to up in Storrs, where you get better officiating for UConn -- and more free housing.
