When you have only eight SEC home games and a back-to-back with Memphis and Ole Miss, something went wrong somewhere.

Just a real quick look (and obviously still not sure on the sec home/away issue) I think 22-8 is very plausible.

I could be off my rocker, but I'm seeing more like 5-7 losses. Anyting less than 10 is reasonable though IMO.

Haha I didn't even see your 22-8 post until now. Would you mind posting the losses you're predicting?

This isn't definite losses just think somewhere around 6-8 losses coming from this group:

Kentuckyx2
Bamax2
Georgetown
Florida
1 in puerto Rico
Memphis
Mizzou
Ole Missx2

I could see between 6-8 losses IMO.

Ole Miss? Really? I hadn't kept up much with them in the off-season so they may be really good but I haven't seen them at the top in any of the "experts" analysis of the SEC.

I think we will beat them, but they're NCAA potential good, since we play them twice I think it's possible we lose 1.

Like I said it was just losses from that group, not necessarily each team on that list well lose to.

Okay, I gotcha now.

Did you have Arky on that list? They will be tough at home. Same goes for Vandy in that ass backwards gym of theirs, no matter how much talent they lost.

IIRC, they lose little if anything from a bubble team, so they should be contenders to make the tournament. Good enough to steal a win, certainly, as they did in New Orleans (grumble, grumble)

Yeah, but isn't that always the way it is at Ole Miss. Kennedy should find a way to make them just slightly better than mediocre. But, I agree, they probably give UT a good game in Oxford.

Zo made Anderson look real bad last year, I expect the same.

If we lose to vandy, I don't care where it is played, we aren't having a succesful year.

Everybody made Arky look bad when they were on the road. At home where they will get all the close calls and UT only has one real PG, things might be different.

As far as Vandy goes, thats kind of a fatalistic outlook on things. Vandy is good at home and just like everyone in the SEC they get friendly calls at home. Martin will be coaching his second game in Memorial and the first one didn't go so well. I'm not picking a Vandy win but I won't be shocked if it happens. UT could easily lose that game and still have a great year.

Candy will suck, if Tennessee losses to them it will be a huge disappoint, no other way to put it.

But let me understand, you question me having ole miss as a potential loss, but make a case for vandy? Not exactly common ground there.

No, when i first read your post, I read it as you saying the Vols would lose to Ole Miss twice.
