I’m surprised that no one has started this thread yet (unless I just missed it). The first teaser trailer just came out. I’m hoping this is the movie that turns this franchise around.

I didn't have much hope for the Teminator franchise after genisys. But that looks like it could actually be good.

Eh... Lots of let downs in this series.

Glad Cameron is back... But this story is so mangled now...

Prolly wait till digital...

That and the return of Linda Hamilton give me hope. If they can't get the franchise back on track, best put it to bed.

This is a direct sequel to T2 they are ignoring the other ones. Probably will get the timeline back to what it was. The biggest question was where was John Connor since he was the central story line

Saw a kid listed as John on Wiki. IMDB doesn't list him though. You would think they would have to address that though.

Well if it is a direct sequel to T2 he would still be a kid and if I read right this is supposed to be a trilogy to end the franchise

It's set in 2022 from what I saw. I guess there is some time tripping going on. I'm surprised the didn't get Edward Furlong. I mean he hasn't been working much lately.

Cameron is a tool. He publicly praised T3 when it was made and then when the public sentiment wasn't very good, he started trashing it. He did the same thing with Genisys.

I mean it worked pretty well with Halloween so maybe this will, but personally I'm pretty over this franchise. This is the 3rd reboot in a decade.

He’s supposed to be a huge drug addict. It’s unfortunate, because he could have been a huge star.

I thought T3 was fun... not a classic like T2... but fun. Liked the one with Christian Bale too but I can’t remember a lot about it so that says a lot. Never saw the last one with Emilia Clark.

I'm so confused by the Terminator plots. I can't tell which timeline they are in. I wish Summer Glau could come back as well as the robot played by the singer from Garbage.

This one is ignoring all the ones past T2.

Salvation was a sequel/prequel to T3.

Genisys was a reboot and a new "alternate" version of the original meant to restart the storyline.

And the TV show was after T2 and ignored T3.
