Matt Smith makes me at least a little interested in this but to be honest I have never really cared for the Terminator franchise.

I didn't "hate it" and was entertained by it. That said, I'm not sad that they aren't continuing it.

Part of the problem with the Terminator franchise is they feel the need to upgrade the Termiator each movie. The thing is, it doesn't really get more advanced than T2000. Everything since has really been a down grade.
