Scout.com: Boulder Baby!
A few highlights...
Terrell Williams, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound three-star safety/wide receiver from Union High School (Edison Prep transfer) in Tulsa, Okla., took his first official visit to Colorado last weekend (Dec. 12) and says it was everything he expected it to be.
Colorado and Ole Miss lead solidly over Oregon State, Arkansas, Kansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma State. Williams is visiting the Beavers on Jan. 30, the Razorbacks on Jan. 9 and the Jayhawks on Jan. 16.
Although he says he has scholarship offers from all the schools mentioned above, Williams admits he hasn't heard from Tennessee since the coaching change. "I'm not sure about them," he said.
"I need to find out if my recruiting coach (Vols defensive ends coach Steve Caldwell) is going to stay with the program or not," he said. "But I haven't been hearing from them so that might be why."
Williams is ranked as the No. 37 safety in the country by Scout.com, but is also being recruited for wide receiver.
He plans to major in either mechanical engineering or sports medicine. He reports a 3.7 core GPA and a 20 ACT.
