Per Jones' Twitter: "I've been enjoying being a college player & plan on striving to reach my goal of winning #8 here at UK. I can't leave the BBN just yet."

Will be returning Darius Miller, Terrence Jones, Doron Lamb, more than Likely DeAndre Liggins, and bringing in Marquis Teague, Kyle Wiltjer, Anthony Davis, Michael Gilchrist, and possibly Trevor Lacey, this could get ugly.

If you don't win it all next year, you probably won't under Cal......North Carolina will have a say in who wins it all.

They play early in the season. Should be one of the best games in Rupp in quite a while, certainly the most talent on the floor that i can ever remember.

I think it will have 12 McDonalds All American's playing in that game. 13 providing that Knight would have stayed.

I think that Louisville and Vandy will be good too. Too bad both teams choke in the post season.

UK, Duke,UNC, tOSU, are loaded

Although i think Duke and OSU are very good, talent wise there is no comparison to what UNC and KY will be able to do next year. Not saying that those two couldnt win against either KY or UNC, but the NBA prospects on those two teams are far and away superior.

The best team doesn't always win as I'm sure you know. You had the most talent two years ago and got kicked. It just takes one bad game in the tournament. You've got a really talented team coming in, but who knows how the new guys gel and if they can buy in to playing D. IMO, predicting a NC is absurd at this point. Let them play first....

I absolutely agree, but no one on here is arguing the NC right now only looking at the talent next year.

Here is some food for thought. Do you think he would have been as successful if he would have went to UT instead of UK?

Edit: Just thought about this whenever the post above said "Cal never had it so good"

If he stayed on campus, all may be fine. If he's been working out somewhere like hopson for the past 2-3 months, not a miniscule chance he didn't violate NCAA rules.

The sun is shining bright on My Old Kentucky Home today. :) Now if Deandre decides to stick around tomorrow....

He'd be successful, but I don't see any reason why he would be more successful in Knoxville. Cal at Kentucky is a strength on strength sort of arrangement. He's at his maximum potential there, whatever that ends up being. His strategy is going to work at Kentucky as good as it will anywhere.

If both stay I will be as happy as judge smails on a blue merry go round with a blue lollipop.

And for the sake of saying something semi negative for him to continue his mission against me, I would have rather Knight stayed than Jones.

There, that covered all the bases.

No other teams are on the UNC/UK level IMO. I wouldn't call Duke loaded either. They lost quite a bit.

Agree. UK and UNC are men amongst boys next season. But anything can happen come tourny time, so much luck is involved its insane. Last year OSU was picked to win it all, the year before it was Kansas. Neither one made the elite 8.

I hope they cool off to about 3-25 from 3-pt land and get embarrassed in an NCAA game, followed by a mass exit of players to the pros, followed by an NCAA investigation.

I am so glad I left that state. UK fan at birth. Vol fan by choice. Screw the cats.

I never heard your conversion story. What happened? See a big Orange light on the way to Knoxville one day?
