Yeah, that caught me right away too. According to ESPN we have the second easiest Pac schedule. So, :dunno:

Ok this guy just lost all cred, he has UCLA at 15, that is a complete joke. He just saw the USC game and thinks their good now.:no:

Great offense in 2005. Horrible defense.
Greatly improved (to decent) defense in 2006.

Should they manage to combine the the strengths of the past two seasons, they could be pretty good. I'm not predicting that, but I can see why he might expect good things.

the pub about ucla comes from the following a) they beat SC, b) they have like 20 starters returning, and c) they are in Los Angeles. What people aren't noticing is a) Karl Dorrell is a horrible coach, b) they don't have a single playmaker on offense or a proven QB, and c) their defense got destroyed by every decent offense in the pac-10 except USC. Personally I think the SC win says more about how questionable SC's offense is, the supposed lock for the NC game, than it does about how good ucla is.

That's why I said UCLA had decent defense instead of a good one. It looked great compared to 2005, but it still wasn't as awesome as some claimed after the first 6 or so games.

yup they puffed up their stats on the stanfurds and rices of the world. They have a couple of really good undersized dlineman and the rest of the defense is pretty good, not great. Oregon, FSU, and Cal scored at will against UCLA.

All I have to say about UCLA is Emerald Bowl.:crazy:

Of course Dorrell lost that game more than the players ever did. He just got out coached.

typical Karl Dorrell. One great victory followed by one great loss. I remember collin cowherd saying that UCLA was going to destroy FSU and laughing my arse off. I wish I was in vegas. That was the most predicatable flameout of the year.
