Fair is now back in the league, playing for the Rams... he just went down in the preseason game with the Lions on MNF. Pray for Terry! He's a punt return legend...

Can you imagine if we had somebody deep like that this year? What a boost it would be to our special teams (and I use the term "special" loosely).

According to an article in the Detroit Free Press, Fair checked out OK and should be released today with a neck sprain. Scary injury, though. One of those where everybody, no matter which side you're on, is rooting for the same thing.

The sideline reporter last night, Michelle Tafoya I think, mentioned that Fair had spent the summer in Knoxville working out and watching film with our DBs. I love to hear about our alums coming back to help the young guys! I think it means a lot to the younger players to hear how its done from an NFL player.

I read where are punt returns were in the low 90's in the nation last year. We need him to teach our youngin's how to return a punt.
