Texas A & M game

The only other potential big games that day are AL/Ark and AU/LSU. It will depend on how AU and Ark are doing. If neither is doing great we will be the lead game.

How does the picking go? Assume arkansas is middle of the pack it might be AU/lsu #1 and us #2 so who gets the 2nd pick for the game times? I just don't want to be the noon game.

Talk about favorable scheduling. We are off the week before A&M and they have a Aubie, Arky and the Turd before us.

BUT we get the Turd the next week.

No way we will be the noon game.

CBS gets first choice and also has a double header that day beginning at Noon. The 3:30 options are LSU/Aub Bama/Ark and aTm/UT. We should be undefeated, really hoping Bama vs Arky is the CBS choice and we get a night game on ESPN.

Ahhhh another Neyland at Night!! Please replicate what we did against KY. Sat next to that clown Ryan Lemon from the KSR radio show Matt Jones does and I’ve never seen a grown man as terrified in a football stadium in my life. The guy was in complete shock. Nothing better than wearing my orange in KY after a beat down!!!

I know one thing for dang sure - they gonna be good as hell. They are loaded- and while Jimbo has had a tough go of it so far, I think he probably knows what he’s doing far better than most realize.
They were not good last year. I expect this year to be exact opposite- I think they beat Alabama and LSU.

CBS is a B1G network now.
They are still under contract w/ the SEC through this year, but are showing a handful of B1G games this season. They’re doing a CBS night game at Penn State for a White Out vs Iowa.

Folks looking past Mizzou and KY game...that might get some TV love depending if UK does what UK does and is hot early in the season before stumbling to an end.

Ugh, hearing that CBS College Football theme this season is going to be like when you break up with someone but they stay for a few more weeks while they find an apartment.

Thanks for clarifying that. I do see that the 3:30 slot will be B1G so NO GARY!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be a sad day when that’s no longer associated with the SEC. It’s a CBS song, but I associate it w/ the SEC. Too bad ESPN couldn’t try and buy the rights to it from them. Sucks that it will be associated w/ the mediocrity that is the B1G.

Kentucky will have a good record because their first 4 games are crap. They then play FL and UGA. KY is not going to get prime time afternoon or night slot at 4-0 when they have FL and UGA on schedule before MO game.

Hot take but I buy it more than LSU vs. Alabama in the top west spot.

We play UK the same day as the Cocktail Party in Jax, which is locked into 3:30 CBS. Probably a noon or night game in Lexington. Noon would be good. We come out ready to play for early kickoffs.
