yeah just about. Tim Brewster, Cleve, Bobby Kennedy and Major are all pretty much public knowledge. Just extrapolate that out a little more across more sports and more coaches and staff members, then you have a picture. I don't know specifics but I know there's more coaches and lower level staff members who have had their transgressions. Some Dodds knew about, some he didn't. That's what was shared with me.
Hard to say what happens to Dodds. You can say he covered it up or you could also say he handled it internally. Because Brewster did "leave" and Bobby Kennedy DID find a soft landing spot. We know how Dodds handled the Applewhite thing and the University fired Cleve Bryant. So Dodds has somewhat of a leg to stand on but I don't know how much was shared with Powers and the board. Especially when the Bev situation came up, I think our regents were floored with all teh stuff that happened and all the ammo bev had. Dodds really got himself in deep and F'd it all up. The Bryant situation will go down in infamy IMO because that was end of the fairy tale for the Bellmont boys
The last thing that was shared with was "hoops...men and women". Lot of rumors in that little text you can play with.
Dodds probably retires early and Powers probably leaves by EOY. All this stuff expedited and empowered Perry and pushing his agenda. He had a window and he took it.
Once Perry appointed the dude from McAllen, I knew we were going down hard.
At the end of the day, we will just take our medicine and this story will blow over by September...hopefully.
