When the Texas goes independent and finishes killing off the Big XII, I'm sure their schedule will open up.

Why would Texas A&M want to play Texas anyway. Thats the whole point of leaving.

Whoever wins this year's game gets bragging rights for quite a while then. This year's game is in A&M, and A&M won last year at Texas.

Yup. Last game of the regular season. And basically the last game of a long standing rivalry. Hope they they beat the dogsnot out of each other. To a losing tie.

It isn't as much about playing a game against Texas as it is avoiding being prison raped by the absolute power that Texas has to dictate what happens with the money in that conference. I'm sure A&M would like to continue the rivalry on the field.

I really don't care about either program. Didn't want A&M anyway. Wish they'd stay in that crap conference and stop trying to steal our recruits.

lol @ Texas. It's probably the smartest thing to do. A&M will be more talented than Texas in a few years so if they started playing this game every year, it would look even worse when they all of a sudden cancel it.
