Personally, I think showing edited highlights is more of a recruiting tool than showing a game 'live.' By the way, broadcasting live football games in Texas is regulated quite strongly by the UIL (the governing board of high school athletics in Texas). The intent is to protect the gate proceeds...which can be considerable given some schools regularly average 10,000 fans (at $8 a pop) per game.
