The Longhorns secured 13 commitments from in-state recruits, the largest group of recruits to commit to the school in coach Mack Browns tenure.
"I think that 13 means that everybody knows Texas is the place to be," Sugar Land Dulles safety Sheroid Evans, who committed on Saturday, told the Austin American-Statesman. "They see it as the best option when it comes to college football."
