I thought Nevin McKenzie was pretty solid. esp for a guy who sacrificed and switched positions so that we could get the best players on the field at once.

We are trying to recruit there pretty hard this year. Russell has very good ties to TX. Dooley and Joseph have ties there too.

Brandon Stewart didn't lead the Vols to the 98 National Championship. That was Tee Martin. Brandon Stewart went back to Texas. Texas Am if I'm not mistaken.

Can u make a list of the people we are recruiting from Texas?

just a quick list. there will be more I'm sure.

RB Aaron Green- has legit interest in UT. likes CDDt alot.

DT Isiah Norton- likes the Vols. wants to leave the state of Texas.

LB Anthony Wallace- is visiting UT sometime this spring or summer.

LB Donnie Baggs- does not hold a Vol offer. Vols are in his top 2 along with TCU. wants a UT offer bad.

However Brandon Stewart did QB the Texas A&M team that upset KSU in the Big 12 title game that day.

Technically I guess he helped FSU more than us, but we'll count it anwyay.

Tim Hodges.....we were fairly good friends until he transferred back to McNeese State and then we lost touch. I wonder what he's doing now.

Aaron Green would be a HUGE get....I think he is going to blow up. His highlight film is ridiculous. He is probably a better running back than Bryce was coming out of high school. Amazing vision and agility.

He was being facetious. Stewart and TAM beat Kansas State, which opened the door for Tennessee in 1998...

What was even funnier about that was that Stewart was the A&M back-up QB and had to go in because the starter got hurt. I know he was the back-up, I don't remember why eh went in.

I just remember starting at noon that day with UCLA/Miami I've never been spent 12 hours more stressed over football that I was then.
