For those of you that don't have xtra, basically he says that Vols are now in the lead. They'll have a solid o-line in the future. He watched the Cal game and he was surprised it was that lopsided.

Also says that he's not worried about competing for the starting job cause he feels he can play wherever he goes.

What about Caleb King? That guy looks awesome and I know he has expressed interest in the past. Do we have a shot at him?

I have no idea about King, but I think we're going to have a shot at a lot of talented kids if we keep laying like we did last night.

the key is getting players on offense. recruiting defensively hasnt really been a problem under Chavis. A Randy Sanders offense doesnt look appealing to offensive recruits.

I have a friend who visited Tennessee this weekend for the game and sat with all the other recruits. Two notable names he mentioned were Harrison Smith and Chris Donald. According to him HS favors ND and CD likes Tennessee.

Chris Walker was at the game and very impressed. Creer liked UT all along, the win just gave him an excuse to pronounce that interest without having people say..."buy why?" I think Donald, Smith, Walker, Creer, and Berry were all just waiting to see if UT was going to get back on track. I honestly think as long as we continue to prove we are not the team we were last year we will get all of those guys. Not to mention quite a few other nice prospects.

It would be real nice to get the big DT from Washington. That kid's a monster.

the big defensive tackle from washington i hear is favoring uva.. i check up on their recruiting a few times a week cause i was a big uva fan before i came to tennessee to school and they say he is favoring them because he has a strong bond with mike london, one of their coordinators.
