Good teams slip up from time to time. I remember in 1983 when a #1 ranked Virginia team lost to Chaminade College in a tournament in Hawaii.

This was at East Lansing. This is a pretty big slip up. I mean we beat TS by 12.

The Big Ten is still the third or fourth best conference this year, despite being rather forgettable outside of Wisconsin/Ohio State. It's also going to be a bad year for college basketball in general, I fear.

SEC 6 NCs since 1990 - I rest my case -

5 of those won by Florida and Kentucky. The other 12 teams: 1.

Big Ten was #1 conference overall each year from 2011 to 2014, a stretch in which the SEC never ranked higher than 4th (2012). But this is a really idiotic debate that I have absolutely zero desire to continue, so respond as you will.

Funny thing is the Baylor WBB team out scored MSU by 34 in the second half in Orlando on the same day to win by 19. Hope their football team brings the same "resolve" to the Cotton Bowl. Their fans aren't feeling it though, Baylor and the Cotton Bowl have sold our allotment of tickets. MSU...not so much, we're propping them up though by buying through their AD.
