The Mike Leach Firing: Testimonies and Videos that Show Leach Is Innocent | Bleacher Report

Two days prior to the incident in question, I disciplined Adam James along with several other receivers. His attitude was poor the entire time; even with constant pleas for improvement. By the end of the practice, a few of the other receivers accepted their lack of performance in the previous practice and worked harder. Adam was not one of these individuals. He was last on all the excercises asked to do and talked and "danced" during the discipline. When told that this was unacceptable, he simply shrugged his shoulders. I continued to encourage him with no success.

if bennie thinks adam james was a POS then that's good enough for me

I agree, that makes him sound like a little rich kid, that thinks rules don't apply to him, because he has an important daddy who will help him get by no matter how big of an ass he acts like.

Another coach with a law degree.

"In 1986, Leach earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Pepperdine University School of Law. Leach is also one of the most prominent graduates of the United States Sports Academy, from which he earned a Master's of Sports Science/Coaching in 1988."

its odd that pictures and video of the places haven't come out before now... if they had been shown during craig james attempt to get his son playing time the public would have laughed... there is somewhere around 6 to 7 videos in the link.. including 60 minutes background on him before the incident... all very enlightening compared to the drivel spewed forth by espn

Someone posted James' deposition a week or so ago. It was interesting reading, none of this seemed like a big deal to him at the time it happened, it was only later that he decided it was bad.

My younger brother lived in a house at college with some of James' high school teammates. Their opinioln of him was that he was spoiled and a punk. They have (contrary to the afadavit) that he didn't get offers and daddy had to beg Leach to offer him.

Leach has a history of taking one "project" at WR in each class...some work (Wes Welker, Danny Amandola) and some don't (Adam James). Mike should have listened to his position coach about taking James, the guy wanted no peice of James going to Tech. When Adam was in High School Craig was such a prick that the faculty and staff at Plano HS partied in the halls when the James family moved to Celina.YouTube - Adam James PUNK'D by 5yr old

I think it's a shame the guy can't even get an interview. 100% character assassination. Every time I see Craig James I get mad. Hopefully things will work out for Leach in the end.

He's tanned, rested and ready to go...soon to have a pocket full of ChaChing (thank you Texas Tech). Put him at a school like Indiana (same football history as Tech) and that would shake the old Big 10+2 up. Isn't Indiana the school that unleashed Bobby Knight on the world?

Amazing....the number of folks on here who slobbered "truth" at every word ESPN spouted about Leach. More amazing...the very, very few who didn't pass judgement on cue and are still waiting to examine everything they can before forming their own opinion.
