The Longhorns logo is one I hold close to my heart. Despite my mostly Oregonian upbringing, Dallas Texas is my true hometown and it hurt to see my 'Horns get shut out for the first time in years. But at least it was to the team who I think will go on to win the Orange Bowl in early 2005.

And major props to the Sooners for a good game, especially their freshman running back, Adrian Peterson. Has anybody seen this kid? A true freshman running for 225 yards against one of the toughest defenses in the country. No doubt, he will be a force to be reckoned with during this season and the next three.

I have disliked Texas since Chris Simms decommitted to us for them. In retrospect, I'm glad he did, but they call themselves UT and I don't like that either.

Adrian Peterson. This kid is friggin' incredible.

I was impressed with him as well.

The comentary on him was he is better than Clarrett when he was a freshman...I would agree...

I have always disliked TX. Sorry! But it was nice to see them get beat. If it were not for a fumble by Matt Jones AR would have beaten them. I think they get overated alot. It seems like every year they get the "TOP" recruiting class and can never quite get it done. It has been along time for them. I know they have a rich history but under Mac Brown they have really under achieved and yet they will always get a good ranking.

Similar stuff to Notre Dame, I suppose... Underachieving but getting a good ranking anyways. Pains me to say that, though. But, I am a 'Horns fan by birthright. So better luck in the Red River Shootout next year.

Another year another loss for the Longhorns. I love watching that game but TX always finds a way to lose.

Peterson looks good and i do compare him to Clarett but Peterson seems alittle bigger. The difference is we will get to see him progress unlike Clarett.

I'm still pissed about Clarett, he messed up his entire football career. I still don't know if it was him handling it wrong or if it was the NCAA and the NFL. It just seems a shame he has been awat from football for 2 years.
