And a trip to Nashville to play a ranked team.Oh Boy were they dragging Tennessee over SOS last night. I think they have lost their minds. They actually said that our remaining schedule had no big games left that would improve our SOS and that it would hurt us getting into the playoffs. Guess they didn't notice our Athens trip coming up.
Yeah but the Athens game is the one everybody thinks we should lose (or it doesn't matter if we lose, <which is even worse>)... because we're destined to be in the playoff @ 10-2 with no big wins, simply because it was written....Oh Boy were they dragging Tennessee over SOS last night. Can't believe I just posted that.
Call me an amateur analyst, but most of UGA looks par for hte course. But...something is not right with Beck. Maybe lack of receivers that made him look better than he is ?? Maybe cause he seems to be totally out of synch and misses alot of passes. He did not look great for the most part at TX. And threw behind alot of open receivers. With a dialed in Beck, UGA would have made that game alot worse for TX than it was.I didn’t see the comments expressing has a weak remaining SOS, but that is a ridiculous thought. GA certainly hasn’t played well consistently this season, so who knows, but they are usually up and motivated when you guys come to town. And I can’t believe I’m saying this either, but a trip to Nashville is far from a gimme this season, they are playing pretty good football. To say y’all’s remaining SOS is weak makes no sense at all.
I think our game, TN at GA, has potential to be a very good game. I give us the edge bc it’s being played in Athens and bc the GA defense looks to have finally woken up, but I think the matchup on the LOS will determine the game. I think this could be a game very much determined by the defenses, and/or which team makes fewer mistakes. Also, and maybe most importantly, the ground game will be key in our game. We, GA, has struggled running the ball at times. If we can’t run the ball against y’all’s very good defensive front it will give you guys a very good shot at an upset.
Yeah, I agree. I’m seeing the same thing you are regarding Beck.Call me an amateur analyst, but most of UGA looks par for hte course. But...something is not right with Beck. That’s them realizing what if feels like to face a real SEC defense! PricelessThis was on SEC This Morning. Looked like Arch and Quinn wanted to be anywhere but where they were Saturday night. The look on their faces is priceless.

good analogy. If the game has slowed down for Nico by the time we get to Athens, turnovers could be the deciding factor. We will definitely go all out to put pressure on Beck, as you will Nico, but I think Nico is the bigger threat with the legs. Football can be a crazy game at times.I didn’t see the comments expressing has a weak remaining SOS, but that is a ridiculous thought. I noticed that too, they don’t seem to talk on the sidelines like Hooker and Milton did. This was on SEC This Morning. Looked like Arch and Quinn wanted to be anywhere but where they were Saturday night. The look on their faces is priceless.

I think it is pretty obvious though that those two have a great relationship. I know Arch isn't worried about money, but in the Portal/NIL era it would be so easy for him to have left already. Even if you come from money, if you're a 5-star QB, you want to play.I noticed that too, they don’t seem to talk on the sidelines like Hooker and Milton did.
I agree, the TX situation is the norm, I was just appreciating what we had with Hooker/Milton and probably Nico/Moore. It will be interesting to see how Nico/Merck evolves.I think it is pretty obvious though that those two have a great relationship. I have a feeling that “they” know ball more than you do and you better hope that UGA is overlooking the Vols.I don't think Beck is as good as "they" seem to believe, but Kirby does appear to be having a hard time getting those 5-star thugs up for any game other than the ones where the other team is considered a threat, which we will be if we stay a 1-loss team going into Sanford.
Believe it. Alabama fans can't believe they lost to Vandy and Tennessee. They ass better believe it too. No guarantees out here. These winning coaches and teams were doing a great job to win all of those games. They shouldn't have been taken for granted as they apparently were, and they should have been much more greatly appreciated. I hope out fans take note as well.Speaking of a trip to Cashville. Texas vs Vandy this Saturday on West End. Texas better not sleep on Vandy. Can’t believe I just posted that either
