When Greg Oden knocked us out of the tournament by scoring 6 straight points during a time when his jersey had blood all over it and he should not by rule have been playing, I thought I could not hate buckeye basketball more.

When we beat you last year in the tournament I loved it more than beating Florida or Kentucky or even Memphis.

Now that you turn out to be a snitch, and a snitch who has been cheating your ...off to pay the NBA kids who all started finding it impossible to leave your state, I hate you with the fire of a million suns. You are a hypocrite and a piece of trash.

I hope you miss the tournament this year and I hope Craft is as successful in basketball as Travis Henry has been in life.

You can't call out Matta for being a snitch unless you add in Bruce. The entire 3rd statement could fit the Bruce mold very well.

IU Hoops – Tom Crean Uses Twitter to Fire a Shot Across Someone’s Bow

I hope Crean turns Matta in.

I also hope Matta every time his back hurts thinks about the weight of carrying around his hypocrisy.

Lying about having a junior over and snitching 20 years ago is a bit different from having boosters pay players to come to your school and then turning in Pearl because you are afraid he is going to make inroads in your state.

For years, I found the Bammer's loathing of Fulmer for having turned them in to the 'AA to be quite laughable.

I can recall thinking, "Had you not been cheating, no one could have turned you in."

I continue to feel the same way, even though the shoe is on the other foot, and it would make me feel better to think it was someone else's fault, other than our own.

It wasn't then. It isn't now.

I've seen no proof that it was Matta.

Who's the bigger snitch or who snitched first has nothing to do with this situation. After all, a snitch is a snitch and the worst type of person alive, right?

Good to know the coach of my second favorite team ratted out the coach of my favorite team, who's also a snitch...

No, that's reserved for the people that try to martyr themselves for snitching because "it was the right thing to do" while cheating themselves.

I've always hated the term "snitch". It's like a bunch of criminals got together and decided that pointing out somebody did something unethical/illegal is worse than actually doing it, then everybody bought it with stupid slogans like "snitches get stitches".

It's one thing to selectively pick out people for personal agendas, but, if you're selling crack near my house or break into someone's car to steal their stereo, guess what? I'm tellin'!

So, no, it doesn't bother me that Pearl "snitched" on Illinois or had the same done him. I'm more worried about the motivations and methods.

When you rat on someone while you're doing the same thing, you deserve the ridicule of your peers.

Bama was paying people big bags of cash.

Pearl had a recruit over to his house for a burger AND his assistants texted a whole 100 times extra...

Thad Matta is despicable to me not because he turned Pearl in for cheating, but because he is a HUGE cheater and just has not been caught yet. Even worse than that is the kind of person who cheats, gets caught, and gets off without punishment by turning on someone else. That is who the Bammers thought Fulmer was. But in truth Kenny Smith would have taken down Bama all by himself.

For the record, I am very disappointed in Bruce Pearl and I do believe he is a hypocrite. I also believe that it is absurd to act like all cheating is equal. What Pearl is guilty of lying about if it is all he actually did means he is running one of the cleanest programs in the top 25 of CBB. I think Butler and Gonzaga are pretty clean programs, and I think almost anyone else you can name is cheating...except maybe Wisconsin..he does not need to cheat to get those players.
