Thank a Veteran Today

ESPECIALLY those that ARE in and have been in harms way. We need to get them home eventually. Some of those brave guys over there are struggling to cope with the everyday, in a soldiers life, a part a lot of people don't understand unless you are there or have been there. I know I don't understand. Pray for them and the physically injured. Pray for them to come home as well and for the famlilies that have lost loved ones.

Thanks. USAF 71 - 92. 100% disabled vet. 8 and 1/2 years spent overseas unable to visit family. You can not understand how much a simple thank you can mean unless you have gone through what the vets had to deal with after Vietnam. I say thank you to all the vets I know and God Bless.

I thank them every time I see one. Really.

They are in one way our another the reason for almost every comfort we have.

Father was in the Navy his entire life, brother was Army and I regret having not served but am eternally grateful.

USAF '82- present. THANKS TO THE OTHER VETS, APPRECIATE WHAT YOU DO!! It means alot to the Vietnam, Korean and WWII vets when you thank them. They didn't get the thanks back then like we get today. I especially like to hear the experiences they've been through.

Yes, heartfelt thanks to all our Veterans... My husband is a former Marine... yesterday I stood in pride when they called for the Army Vets to stand, in honor and memory of both my parents who served in the Army...

I am currently deployed in Africa and saw something funny yesterday. One of the "locals" who was doing some contract work had on what I thought looked like a shirt that was Tennessee orange. I couldn't see the front of it, but as I passed by I saw the back and it had the KNS logo on it. I'm sure he had no idea what he was wearing, but it's nice to see something familiar when you are so far away.

USAF 05 - Present

Thank you to everyone currently serving and those that came before us.
