Dbake, i'll be appalled if he in on the WS roster should we beat Cleveland. Why Tito didn't go with Tavarez in that spot still bothers me, at least Julian has some daring and panache, and can get fired up for the spot, plus he is a fan favorite, and would have gotten a standing O coming out of the pen.

My buddy was at the game, he said when Gagne came out of the pen, the pink hats applauded, and everyone else had a look on their face like their dogs had just been put to sleep.

yup. I'd rather short rest him and have him go tonight and in 7 if need be, but i can deal with Wake. Thing that sucks, is that it lines up for Matsuzaka in game 7, should it get there.
